Body Alive Officially Launches in Columbus with Two Fitness Studios
Polaris Studio Now Open; Upper Arlington Location Coming Soon
Body Alive Fitness Studios, the high-intensity, beat-driven fitness brand originating from Cincinnati, has officially arrived in Columbus. With the grand opening of its Polaris location at Westar Place now behind them, the company is gearing up to launch a second studio in Upper Arlington later this year.
Known for its award-winning hot workouts—including Hot Pilates, Hot Yoga, and Barre—Body Alive brings a dynamic, music-powered experience to every class, delivered in heated studio environments designed to energize and empower.
A Vibrant Addition to the Columbus Fitness Scene
“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring Body Alive to Columbus,” said Elley Frank, Owner of Body Alive Columbus. “Columbus is such a vibrant, active city with a strong sense of community — which aligns perfectly with our values at Body Alive. We’re passionate about creating a high-energy, inclusive space where people of all fitness levels can sweat through dynamic, beat-based workouts and leave feeling empowered, stronger, and more alive.”
Expansion Continues in Upper Arlington
The brand’s second Columbus-area studio is underway in Upper Arlington at 1600 W Lane Avenue, where renovations are currently in progress. This location will take over the former Yoga Six space and be transformed into a fully heated, immersive Body Alive experience.
Real Estate Partnership Fuels Expansion
“Body Alive is one of the most exciting and energetic fitness brands we’ve ever worked with,” said Scott Steidel, Partner at Roth Real Estate Group, who represented Body Alive in both Columbus lease transactions. “They’re bringing a fresh, powerful concept to the city, and we’re proud to help launch their expansion into one of Ohio’s most dynamic fitness markets.”
